Hot Creole Butter Steaks: A Fiery Feast
Imagine sizzling steaks, smothered in a creamy, spicy butter sauce that's packed with the vibrant flavors of New Orleans. That's exactly what you'll get with these Hot Creole Butter Steaks. This recipe is a perfect blend of rich, buttery goodness and a fiery kick of Creole seasoning. It's a dish that will leave your taste buds dancing and your guests craving more.
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. OTSS Hot Créole Seasoning
¼ tsp. OTSS Smoked Paprika
1 sprig fresh thyme
2-4 Rib-Eye or Strip Steaks
OTSS Kosher Flake Salt
OTSS Four Peppercorn Blend
Season both sides of each steak with salt and fresh ground pepper. Set aside.
Combine softened butter, garlic, Hot Créole Seasoning, paprika, and fresh thyme leaves in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
Grill Steaks over high heat for about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. (Cook longer for desired doneness: ~1 min. longer per side for medium, ~2 min. longer per side for medium well, ~3 min. longer per side for well.)
Remove steaks from the grill, cover loosely with foil, and rest for a few minutes.
Top each steak with a spoonful of Hot Créole Butter and serve immediately.
Serve with crust bread, corn on the cob, baked potato, or green side salad.
