  • 2 pounds of small red or gold potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of Old Town Spice Shop Roasted Garlic Seasoning
  • Fresh chives for garnish
  • Salt to Taste
  • Black Pepper to Taste

Directions

Step 1

Boil the Potatoes: In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the whole potatoes. Cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

Step 2

Smash 'em: Preheat the oven to 425°F. On a baking sheet, smash each potato with a fork or potato masher to flatten slightly.

Step 3

Season and Roast ‘em: Drizzle the potatoes with olive oil, then sprinkle with Roasted Garlic Seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Step 4

Bake 'em: Roast the potatoes in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden and crispy.

Step 5

Serve the smashed potatoes with a dollop of sour cream and fresh chives for a pop of color and creaminess. These are best served hot and fresh from the oven, so time them with your other dishes accordingly.
