Ingredients

For Créole Butter:

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. OTSS Hot Créole Seasoning
  • ¼ tsp. OTSS Smoked Paprika
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme

For Steaks:

  • 2-4 Rib-Eye or Strip Steaks
  • OTSS Kosher Flake Salt
  • OTSS Four Peppercorn Blend

Directions

Step 1

  • Season both sides of each steak with salt and fresh ground pepper. Set aside.

Step 2

  • Combine softened butter, garlic, Hot Créole Seasoning, paprika, and fresh thyme leaves in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.

Step 3

  • Grill Steaks over high heat for about 3 minutes per side for medium-rare. (Cook longer for desired doneness: ~1 min. longer per side for medium, ~2 min. longer per side for medium well, ~3 min. longer per side for well.)

Step 4

  • Remove steaks from the grill, cover loosely with foil, and rest for a few minutes.

Step 5

  • Top each steak with a spoonful of Hot Créole Butter and serve immediately.
