I tried the Corned Beef Spice mixture to corn a big brisket and it came out great. I was traveling during St Patrick's Day and didn't get any corned beef. I looked in 3 grocery stores but there were no pre-corned beef pieces at all. I bought a brisket and the Old Town Spice Shop's Corned Beef spice mix. Following the instructions, I mixed water, sugar, salt and the spice mix into a marinade and in went the beef. I left it for 2 days, adding ice to keep it cool. Cooked it and ate it. Delicious!
